Poco X4 GT has a well-known typical triple-camera configuration with a 64MP primary sensor

Published by

Poco X4 GT has a well-known and frequently utilized triple-camera setup. Even with upper mid-range devices, it is frequently employed. But more importantly, the main 64MP sensor in the X4 GT is bigger than it was on the X3 GT. A 64MP, f/1.9, 1/1.72″, 0.8mm primary camera is used by the new shooter.

A well-known 8MP, f/2.2, 1/4.0″, 1.12-mm ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view is added to the aforementioned camera. The third camera—a 2MP f/2.4—is only utilized for macro photography. The Poco X4 GT uses a 16MP, f/2.5, 1/3.06″, 1.0m camera for selfies.

Menus on cameras

Although Poco X4 GT has some oddities, the camera app is a rather easy implementation. First, you can move between modes by using side swipes (on the black bezel! ), and you can also press on the visible modes to access them immediately.

Only the toggle next to the shutter release may be used to swap between the front and rear cameras; up and down swipes do not operate in this regard.

By selecting the More tab and then the edit button, you can add, remove, and rearrange modes in the main Rolodex. You can also get to that page from the settings menu. Although you can choose to utilize a (less intuitive) pull-out window that is called up from a line near the shutter release, the unused modes will still be under the More tab.

You may access other options, such as the Super Macro mode (why is it here rather than a mode in the Rolodex? )  through the hamburger menu at the very end.

In addition to that hamburger menu, there is a magic wand in Poco X4 GT with beauty filters and effects, a flash mode switch, an HDR switch, an AI toggle, and a shortcut to Google Lens.

Poco X4 GT Main Camera

The camera zoom switch, which can be used in one of two ways, is located at the near end. Simply touching on one of the three dots, which stand for the ultra-wide, primary, or 2x digital possibilities is the first step. Alternately, you can swipe sideways while tapping the active magnification to show two other zoom levels—2x and 10x—as well as a slider for intermediate magnifications.

There is a Pro mode that is very competent in Poco X4 GT and allows you to change the shooting settings on your own. Here, you can make advantage of your primary, ultrawide, and even macro cameras. Depending on the camera you’re using, you may choose from four different white balance presets or adjust the light temperature using a slider.

There’s also a manual focusing slider with the option of peaking, which is especially helpful for macro shots. There is a little live histogram available, and the hamburger menu contains a toggle for zebras.
