The Mortuary Assistant Launch Date, and Everything we know so far

In The Mortuary Assistant participants assume the character of Rebecca Owens, a future morgue employee who recently earned a doctorate in mortuary science and has started an apprenticeship at River Fields Mortuary.

You have spent a lot of time helping the mortician with everyday activities over the past few months, learning the ins and outs of the embalming procedure as well as how to manage and care for the deceased. You get a call one evening asking you to come in and handle some new work that has just come in, but this time something isn’t quite right.

Near the end of 2021, the developers of this game offered a free demo on Steam so that curious horror fans might form their own opinions. We even have a release date now that they have a publisher partnership!

You joined River Fields Mortuary as an apprentice after earning your degree in mortuary sciences. You have spent a lot of time helping the mortician with everyday activities over the past few months, learning the ins and outs of the embalming procedure as well as how to manage and care for the deceased.

You’ve heard tales of people sending their loved ones who have passed away to this particular morgue to be laid to rest if they were thought to be possessed or otherwise involved with the supernatural during your time at River Fields. But it’s understandable that people make up tales about the dead given the shame associated with death and what happens when we pass away.

You are summoned to work one late night to perform some embalmings. Death is not bound by the passage of time. But because of a difference in you, there is something unique about these bodies. The Mortician answers the phone as it rings. You cannot go since the rumors are accurate.

Exorcise demons, manage the many tasks around the morgue, and perform embalmings. The job of a day is done.

When The Mortuary Assistant launches on PC via Steam come August 2nd, get ready for the worst night of your life. You will execute embalmings there, take care of various tasks around the morgue, and expel demons. The job of a day is done.
