TikTok user Miranda Wilson Apologies to Star Natalia Dyer after ‘toxic’ video suggesting cosmetic surge

Fans of the 27-year-old actress Natalia Dyer, who plays Nancy Wheeler in the Netflix series, were ‘disgusted’ after TikTok user Miranda Wilson posted a video pointing out Natalia’s flaws in a video.

Miranda, an aesthetic nurse practitioner, showed Natalia a photo with arrows pointing to areas on her face where she could get lip filler, botox, and a brow lift.

Natalia’s masseter muscles would have been worked on to slim the face,’ and chin filler would have been used to ‘help fill out her chin and make her face more of a heart shape,’ according to the nurse.

Miranda included an edited photo of Natalia’s face after the cosmetic surgery at the end of the video.

The video sparked widespread condemnation, with many calling it ‘toxic’ and ‘horrible,’ prompting Miranda to remove the TikTok post.

She later apologized in a video, saying, ‘Hoping to clear the air that I was not suggesting that Natalia NEEDED any of that work, it was just an example.’ Natalia is absolutely stunning in her current form, which is why she is so successful.

‘Her picture was just an example. I apologize if that came across as mean or rude; that was not my intention at all.

Miranda expressed her feelings in the video, saying, ‘I didn’t mean to offend anyone, including Natalia.’ I was simply making suggestions about what you could do rather than what you had to do.

‘That’s what we do as advanced injectors.’

She then used her own photo to point out areas she could improve, such as an eye lift and, of course, her masseters, which are facial muscles connected to the jawbone and cheekbone.

Following the original video, one Twitter user slammed the aesthetician, saying, ‘If TikTok is going to ban content, this is the kind of content it should ban.’ This has to be causing serious mental damage to teenagers and tweens.’

‘The cosmetic plastic surgery industry desperately needs you to hate how you look,’ said YouTuber Tyler Oakley. This isn’t just bullying of one person (though, omg, this video is), it’s the creation of an entire culture of unrealistic beauty standards for profit. Yuck!’

Natalia Dyer recently appeared in season 4 volume 2 of the popular sci-fi horror series Stranger Things, where the sinister events in Hawkins and the Upside Down came to a head.
