Surface Pro 8 Specs, Price, Design, & Other Related Updates!!

The Surface Pro 8 made its official entry into India on January 20, 2022. However, the initial announcement was made in September 2021. Microsoft has released a new 2-in-1 device that has a redesigned design, a quicker display that is nearly edge-to-edge, a more powerful chip, Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, and a battery life that can last for up to 16 hours.

This is in reference to Microsoft’s Surface Pro 7 computer. The Surface Pro 8 starts at Rs 1,04,499 in India. On February 15, 2022, it became available for purchase to customers.

Since 2014, not much has changed with the Surface Pro line, with the exception of a slight increase in screen size (from 11.6 to 12.3 inches) with the Surface Pro 4 and the introduction of USB Type-C with the Surface Pro 7.

Pro 8 may last up to 16 hours on a single charge, but that is only if you use it normally and set the brightness to 150 nits. Microsoft claims that the 24W adapter that comes with the device would charge it from 0% to 80% in just over an hour.

The product has since undergone a redesign. It features a new Slim Pen 2 that is kept in the keyboard and has a larger 13-inch screen with thin bezels. Additionally, rather than the more customary magnesium, it is built of aluminum. The Intel-powered Surface Pro finally has the impression of being a contemporary product. Design

When viewed from the front, the Surface Pro 8 has a design that is quite similar to the Surface Pro X. Most likely; you couldn’t even distinguish between them.

Camera

One more noteworthy adjustment concerns the rear camera. The Pro 7’s 8Mp sensor has been upgraded to 10Mp, and 4K video recording is now supported. The 5Mp front-facing camera is still functional and works with Windows Hello face unlock.

Slim Pen 2

The brand-new Slim Pen 2 is the recommended pen to use with the Surface Pro 8, while you can also use any pen Microsoft has ever produced since the Pro 3 and a selection of third-party choices. However, the Slim Pen 2 is cool since it offers haptic feedback that simulates writing on real paper.

Having been introduced on January 11, 2022, the first two variants listed above are the only ones in the whole Pro 8 series that enable LTE connectivity.

The i5 and i7 versions upgrade to Iris Xe, whereas only the i3 variants employ UHD integrated graphics.

Additionally, you have a choice of 8, 16, or 32GB of DDR4x RAM. The removable SSD, which is a significant feature shared with the Surface Pro 7+, is available in 128GB and 256GB capacities across all configurations but is only accessible on Wi-Fi-enabled models.
