Mirzapur Season 3: Release Date – Will it release this year?

Mirzapur Season 3 is one of the much-awaited series on Amazon Prime Video after Munna Bhaiya’s death in the last season, But when we will get the third season of the show? Here we have a few important updates for you.

Amazon Prime Video has produced two most famous web series in India one is Panchayat and the second, is Mirzapur, after the record-breaking season 2 of Mirzapur Season, 3 could be one step ahead because of it’s plot and the cliffhanger in the last episode of season 2.

What could happen in Mirzapur Season 3?

Kaleen Bhaiya aka Akhndanand Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi) was shot by Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) and Golu (Shweta Tripathi) in last season’s last episode and the most important plot twist was Munna Tripathi’s (Divyendu) death at the last.

The story of Mirzapur Season 3 will start from here as Kaleen Bhaiya was saved by Sharad, and Mirzapur is now being controlled by Guddu and Golu.

So, Kaleen Bhaiya will surely take revenge for Munna’s death and his wife Beena Tripathi’s betrayal.

It will be interesting to watch how Guddu and Golu will run the cartel of Mirzapur after Kaleen Bhaiya, which changes they will bring into the town, and how they will confront everyone who hadn’t helped them when Guddu’s brother Babloo Pandit (Vikrant Massey) was killed by Munna Tripathi.

So I think the major alive characters will surely be back in Season 3 like:

Pankaj Tripathi will again be back as the Mafia King Kaleen Bhaiya aka Akhandanand Tripathi
Ali Fazal will also reprise his role as the new king of Mirzapur Guddu Tripathi
Shweta Tripathi will also be back in her role of Gajgamini Gupta aka Golu Gupta
Anjum Sharma be abck in the role of Sharad Shukla
Vijay Verma is back as Bharat Tyagi in Mirzapur Season 3.
But unfortunately, Divyendu Sharma may not reprise his role as Munna Bhaiya as he died in Season 2.
All Other major characters will also be back in the upcoming season.

But an important question right now is when will Season 3 be released on Amazon Prime Video?

Potential Release Date

As we had discussed in our previous article, the shooting of Mirzapur Season 3 started last month in July 2022 and I think it will take almost 3-4 months in shooting and we can get Season 3 in the summer of 2023.

So, we have to wait for a few months to watch Season 3.
