San Diego Comic-Con 2022: Program Schedule and Special Guests

San Diego Comic-Con 2022 Program Schedule: After a preview day on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, the main events of San Diego Comic-con has already started yesterday- July 21, 2022. The pop culture show this year is carrying another level of significance as well as excitement, as this Comic-Con marks the first in-person Comic-Con after two years.

And after much debate and speculation about whether the masking protocol will be able to be enforced in the event, the annual nerdfest finally kicks off welcoming fantasy fans from all over the world in San Diego.

The main event of the Comic-Con will take place for four days starting on July 21 and concluding on July 24. Though the live telecast will not be available for the festival, major events will be forecasted from the venue. So, like the four geeky friends Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, and Raj (‘The Big Bang Theory‘ of course), we are also super psyched.

Special Guests of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con 2022:

At the Convention Center of San Diego this year a number of significant personalities are coming as special guests of the Comic-Con 2022. Among them is the writer of ‘Children of Blood and Bone Tomi Adeyemi. This Nigerian-American writer has won a Nebula and Hugo Award and has secured a place among the world’s 100 most influential people in Time Magazine.

Other guests are ‘Nightlights’ writer and Eisner Awards nominee Lorena Alvarez, renowned animator and producer Jane Baer, Latinx author Henry Barajas, creator of Funky Winkerbean, and the Pulitzer finalist Lisa from Funky-Tom Batiuk, author of the bestselling Red Rising series Pierce Brown, ‘Batgirl’, ‘Female Furies’, and ‘Thr Year of the Beasts’ writer Cecil Castellucci, author of ‘The School for Good & Evil’ Soman Chainani, comic writer Amy Chu, creator of ‘Upgrade Soul’ and ‘BTTM FDRS’ both of which were nominated for Eisner Awards- Ezra Claytan Daniels, tv show writer Mark Evanier, Marvel’s Group Editor and writer Danny Fingeroth, etc.
