Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: Price, Specifications, and Many More

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was expected to be released in August 2021. However, it never came to fruition. Therefore, we thought Samsung had entirely given up on the release for a while. However, that theory was proven incorrect when Samsung unveiled the phone at CES 2022.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Price in India

On January 4, 2022, the phone was released in India with a starting price of Rs 52,190. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, on the other hand, was released just weeks before the Samsung Galaxy S22.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 has a more powerful chipset. It also has the best camera, more RAM, and an Android 12 operating system. It costs only $100 more than the Galaxy S21 FE.

Design

With Samsung adopting a plastic-dependent polycarbonate design for the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus. It’s clear what material Samsung will use for the Galaxy S21 FE.

So naturally, it’s plastic, and while that’s not necessarily a significant difference from the S21. There’s no attempt to hide what this phone is made of.

The contour-cut design that houses the rear camera array is one of the Galaxy S21 FE’s better designs flourishes. While a jolt is holding that strip of vertically aligned lenses blends in with the phone’s side. By making the array appear less prominent.

Display

The display on the Galaxy S21 FE has been updated with the S21’s screen panel. It has a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with native HDR10+ support and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The Galaxy S20 FE’s Super AMOLED display did not have HDR10 capabilities at launch, which was disappointing, but these were added later in 2021.

Cameras

It appears to be a carbon copy of the Galaxy S20 FE, with a 12MP primary camera, a secondary 12MP camera for ultrawide photos, and an 8MP tele for 3x optical zoom. The front camera, likely 32MP, will also be the same.

While the S21 FE’s triple-camera setup — a 12MP primary, a 12MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP telephoto — is very versatile, photos rarely wow you as much as they would on a Pixel 6. Moreover, while Samsung’s processing has improved noticeably in recent years, most of the actual hardware has not, and the company is again falling behind Google and others.

Performance

The Galaxy S21 FE, as expected, comes with the same hardware as the rest of the S21 series – either the Snapdragon 888 or the Exynos 2100 chipset. On the plus side, the Snapdragon 888 is the same system-on-chip that powered the entire Galaxy S21 lineup, so performance should be comparable.

Battery life and Charging

The Galaxy S21 FE comes with a 4,500 mAh battery, which is the same size as the battery in the phone’s predecessor. However, with a slightly smaller screen and a more power-efficient chipset powering the new phone, you’d think battery life would be improved over the Galaxy S20 FE’s mediocre performance.

Unfortunately, that is not the case. The Galaxy S21 FE performed admirably in everyday use, though it was in desperate need of a sum by the end of the day.
