Xiaomi 11T Pro Price, Specifications, Launch Date, and Everything Else You Need to Know

Xiaomi 11T Pro: The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro was released in India in September 2020. It was a reliable, high-end smartphone with a slew of features and impressive hardware.

Xiaomi has finally released a successor more than a year later. Like most of Xiaomi’s recent premium and mid-range devices, this new smartphone does away with the “Mi” branding and is known as the Xiaomi 11T Pro.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro is available in three different configurations and finishes. In India, the base variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs Rs. 39,999.

This is followed by a variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which costs Rs. 41,999, and the top-of-the-line variant, which costs Rs. 43,999 and has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Moonlight White, Meteorite Black, and Celestial Blue are the names of the three finishes. The 12GB version is only available in black and blue. I received the Celestial Blue variant with 12GB of RAM.

Design

It’s a big phone – perhaps too big for some people to use comfortably, as it was a stretch for us, and we have fairly average-sized hands – but that’s because you have so much screen space.

A fingerprint scanner is placed on the phone’s right edge, which was just within reach for us but may be difficult for some to use. Nevertheless, it’s a very responsive scanner, and we never had trouble unlocking our phone with a single tap of our thumb.

Under the Meteorite Gray model’s glass back is a brushed aluminum look, with large rings around the main camera modules. However, the rectangular housing gives it a boxy appearance and doesn’t push the design envelope.

Cameras

Suppose you’ve used the Xiaomi Mi 11. In that case, you’ll recognize the 11T Pro’s camera setup: it has the same 108MP main and 5MP telemacro sensors as the Mi 11, but its ultra-wide and selfie cameras are lower-resolution at 8MP and 16MP, respectively.

The camera is quick to focus and simple to use, allowing you to capture small details and textures in small subjects that you might not notice otherwise. For example, we had a lot of fun taking close-up photos of plants and food, even though we had done the same thing six months before with the Mi 11.

Performance

The Xiaomi 11T Pro features a Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz peak refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate, which are slightly higher than the Mi 11X Pro (360Hz). In addition, the display is set to the ‘Vivid Color’ profile by default, which produces slightly oversaturated colors.

Performance was not an issue, as it is with most smartphones at this price point. In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the Xiaomi 11T Pro scored 811 and 3,391 points, respectively. It also passed the 3DMark Sling Shot Extreme GPU test with flying colors.

Specifications and Software

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC is used in several smartphones at this price point, including the Xiaomi 11T Pro. The 11T Pro comes with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage but no expansion slot. The phone is compatible with multiple 5G bands and has a dual-5G standby.

Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 software, based on Android 11, is preinstalled on the phone. The interface is typical of a Xiaomi phone, and numerous preinstalled third-party apps can be uninstalled if necessary.
