Sweet Magnolias Season 3 Filming Started – Potential Release Date

Sweet Magnolias Season 3 filming has started and here we have few information about the upcoming real-estate series on Netflix.

After two successful seasons, Netflix’s fans are hoping for a new season 3 of Sweet Magnolias. The popular American romance drama is set in a fictional but quaint southern town of serenity establishing itself as a fan favorite soon after its 2020 debut.

About Sweet Magnolias

In the novel adaptation of Sweet Magnolias by Sherryl Woods, the main characters were played by JoAnna Garcia Swisher as Maddie Townsend, Brooke Elliott as Dana Sue Sullivan, Heather Headley as Helen Decatur, Justin Bruening as Cal Maddox, Chris Klein as Bill Townsend.

Season 2 was centered around Maddie dan a sur and Helen and their relationship as friends and with their families as well. The spotlight on the chemistry between the three main characters really carries the show from their margarita night to them lifting each other up. They are always there for each other and that bond is really the cherry on the top.

There is so much in Season 2 from Maddie with her relationship with Coach and ex-husband and Jamie Lynn Spears character, Helen, and her past the Danish sue with her complicated relationship with her husband and her restaurant.

What can happen in Sweet Magnolias Season 3?

The show has gained much acclaim in the two years since it’s been airing, making it come back for another season. Season 2 ends with unresolved issues like Cal Maddox getting into a fight in front of Maddie and ending up in handcuffs, once the police arrived.

The proven intrigue in season two suggests that given the show’s general popularity and creator’s determination to continue filming despite the pandemic, which means that there is hope for Season 3 of Sweet Magnolias.

So while Netflix has not made any promises yet and is likely to keep waiting for the fans for a while, it is uncertain that the third installment is just around the corner, but chances show that Sweet Magnolias will be back in serenity for another round.

Filming Started in July

On 18 July, we got confirmation about the shooting of the Sweet Magnolias Season 3, which has been confirmed by the post on Sweet Magnolias writers room Instagram. In the post we can see the inscription of ‘Sweet Magnolias 3 with three roses. The post has been captioned as:

“Shall we begin?” ? So happy to be welcoming everyone home to Serenity for day one of filming Season 3 of Sweet Magnolias! ? #SweetMagnolias #SweetMagnoliasS3 #SweetMagnoliasNetflix @netflix

So it’s confirmed that the shooting has begun for Sweet Magnolias Season 3 and very soon we will get the next season, probably in starting of 2023 we can expect season 3 to be premiered on Netflix.
