Sweet Tooth Season 2: When Is the Second Season Coming and Which Are the Cast Members’ Past Filmographies?

Sweet Tooth Season 2 Updates: Jim Mickle has developed American fantasy series that is adapted from the same-named comic book by Jeff Lemire. The plot of the series is set in a fictional universe that has collapsed due to “The Great Crumble”, a viral pandemic, wiping out maximum people from the world.

A mysterious kind of hybrid baby begins to be born are hybrid of human and animal. One such creature is Gus who is a hybrid of deer and humans.

The series premiered on Netflix on June 4, 2021. In July of 2021, a second season was renewed. Now it is known that filming of the newer season has been wrapped up. The official premiering date of the second season has not been finalized yet, and neither has the list of cast members who will appear in this season.

It is expected that Nonso Anozie, Christian Convery, Adeel Akhtar, Stefania LaVie Owen, Dania Ramirez, Will Forte, and Neil Sandilands will reprise their roles from the first season.

Gus is the young protagonist of ‘Sweet Tooth’. He is a ten years old half-human- half deer who has been raised by his father. He is determined to find his mother and begins a journey for that. He is the titular Sweet Tooth as he is obsessed with candies.

Canadian actor Christian Convery plays the role of Gus in the series. In 2016 he appeared as a vampire child in the fantasy horror series ‘Van Helsing’. In Noah Hawley’s superhero series ‘Legion’ he portrayed the younger version of protagonist David Haller aka Legion, starred by Dan Stevens, in 2017.

The same year he was cast as Ethan in DC Comics’ character-based urban fantasy series ‘Lucifer’.

In 2018 in Jake Szymanski’s teen comedy series ‘The Package’ Convery starred as Jake Floyd. The next year in the musical fantasy movie ‘Descendants 3’ he starred as Squeaky, one of Mr. Smee’s twin sons. He was also cast in the 2019 family comedy movie as Will the same year.

In Disney Channel’s television series ‘Pup Academy’ Convery co-starred with Don Lake, Gabrielle Miller, and Aria Birch in the main role of Morgan in 2020.

In 2022 he starred as one of the main characters Rob Horton in the American movie ‘The Tiger Rising’. He will see to be starring in the upcoming thriller movie ‘Cocaine Bear’ that will release in 2023.

Aditya Singh a doctor who is trying to find a cure for the virus is played by British actor Adeel Akhtar. He portrayed Inspector Lestrade in the 2020 movie ‘Enola Holmes’.

For playing the titular role of Ali in ‘Ali & Ava’ the next year, he was nominated for British Academy Film Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. From 2013 to 2014 he played Wilson Wilson in the British thriller series ‘Utopia’ for which he was nominated for the British Academy Television Award in the category of Best Supporting Actor.
