Too Old for Fairy Tales: Storyline

Kristoffer Rus directed the Polish drama Too Old for Fairy Tales. ‘Za duzy a bajki’ is the Polish title of the film. The film was entirely shot in Poland. The plot revolves around Waldek, a young boy who is obsessed with video games. He rarely leaves his room and spends most of his time in front of the computer, playing video games.

Waldek’s only goal is to compete in an upcoming tournament. However, all of his plans are shattered.

Unfortunately, his mother became ill, and as a result, a crazy aunt arrived to look after Waldek. The aunt began to introduce a disciple into the boy’s life, which he detested. So, over time, he began to understand the significance of certain things that he had previously overlooked.

We will see Maciej Karas in the role of Waldek Banas. Amelia Fijalkowska, Dorota Kolak, Patryk Siemek, Karolina Gruszka, and Andrzej Grabowski also appear in the film.
