Riverdale is at the top of the list for The CW’s latest round of renewals. Despite being officially renewed for season 7, the show’s final season will, unfortunately, be this one, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Though, KJ Apa previously disclosed that the show’s four main leads have signed on for “the next three years,” meaning their contracts will expire with season 7, this news isn’t entirely unexpected. That indicated that The CW could easily and painlessly renew the program for an additional year.

When Will We Find Out When Riverdale Will Return?
