FBI Season 5: Release Date & Everything We Know About The Crime Drama

Published by

The FBI is back, and viewers have high hopes for season 5, especially given how the series ended last spring.

The crime drama, as well as its two spinoff series, have been among CBS’s most popular shows, helping the network to become the most-watched network in the United States for 2021-2022. Can CBS’s fall TV lineup of 2022 do the same?

With Season 4 officially in the books, the FBI audience is gearing up for new episodes this fall. Here’s everything we know about the fifth season of FBI.

When is the FBI Season 5 release date?

The fifth season of FBI will premiere on CBS on Tuesday, September 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The series will kick off “FBI night” on CBS, with the season 2 premiere of FBI: International at 9 p.m. ET/PT and the season 4 premiere of FBI: Most Wanted at 10 p.m. ET/PT on the same day.

Premium subscribers to Paramount Plus and subscribers to the CBS app will also be able to watch the episode live.

There is currently no official word on when Season 5 will be released in the UK, but once that information becomes available, we will be able to pass it along.

FBI Season 5 cast

There have been no announcements about major cast changes to date. As a result, we anticipate that the main cast will return. Missy Peregrym (Van Helsing, Heroes) plays Special Agent Maggie Bell, whose season 4 was cut short due to maternity leave. When the special agent left the season early, some fans noticed the void she left in the series right away.

Zeeko Zaki, who plays Special Agent Omar Adom “OA” Zidan, works alongside Peregrym as Maggie’s partner. Zaki previously portrayed Matt in the Valor franchise.

Season 5’s main cast is expected to include Jeremy Sisto (Clueless, Hangman) and Alana De La Garza (Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders).

FBI Season 5 trailer

It’s a little early for a trailer for FBI Season 5. However, as soon as one becomes available, we’ll post it here.

How to watch FBI season 5

CBS broadcasts FBI live. CBS is also available through a number of live TV streaming services, including FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV, and YouTube TV, for those without traditional cable/satellite television. Subscribers to Paramount Plus Premium and the CBS app will also be able to watch episodes live as they air.

If you prefer to watch things at your leisure, you can now watch episodes on-demand the day after they air on TV via the CBS app and Paramount Plus.
