Look Both Ways Update: Wanuri Kahiu’s upcoming film ‘Look Both Ways is set to release on Netflix on August 17, 2022. Kahiu’s other important films are ‘From a Whisper and ‘Rafiki’ the first of which made her win a number of African Academy awards. The film ‘Look Both Ways’ was first titled as ‘Plus/Minus’.

Director Kahiu has one other film in her queue named ‘The Thing About Jellyfish’ star Millie Bobby Brown. The plot of the movie revolves around a woman named Natalie whose life is the focus of the story.

She finds her life diverging between two realities. They are the journey of motherhood in her young adult age in her hometown of Texas and the other one is the journey of pursuing a career in LA. During these journeys, she comes across life-altering love and heartbreak through which she discovers herself again and again.

The main character of Natalie is played by Lili Reinhart in the film. Other cast members of the film include Danny Ramirez, David Corenswet, Luke Wilson, Nia Long, Andrea Savage, Aisha Dae, Taylor Murphy, etc.

The character of Danny Ramirez is most likely to portray Natalie’s love interest in the film. The filming of the movie took place from June to August of 2022. On August 3, the filming wrapped up.

Lili Pauline Reinhart as Natalie:

In 2013 Reinhart starred in three films ‘The Kings of Summer’, ‘Gibsonburg’, and ‘Forever’s End’ the last of which is an apocalyptic psychological thriller where Reinhart co-starred with Charity Farrell.

In 2016 she was cast in two films ‘Miss Stevens and ‘The Good Neighbor’. The former is Julia Hart’s comedy-drama where Reinhart co-starred with Timotheé Chalamet and Lily Rabe in the role of Margot Jensen. The latter is a psychological horror movie starring Logan Miller, James Caab, and Keir Gilchrist where she played the role of Ashley.

With Ben Foster and Elle Fanning, Reinhart co-starred in the thriller movie ‘Galveston’. Her most important role in films came next year through the character of Annabelle who is a stripper in Lorene Scafaria’s crime comedy movie ‘Hustlers’ starring Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, and Julia Stiles as other cast members.

She made a cameo appearance the same year in Kristen Stewart and Naomi Scott starred ‘In Charlie’s Angels’ as an Angel Recruit.

Danny Ramirez as Gabe:
This American actor who has starred in the upcoming Netflix movie has been seen acting in various other movies and tv series previously. He appeared in a single episode of Showtime’s ‘The Affair, crime drama ‘Blindspot’ in 2016, and Netflix’s comedy-drama ‘Orange is the New Black’ in 2017.

In the superhero series ‘The Gifted’, based on Marvel’s X-Men and co-produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Marvel Television, Ramirez played the role of Wes in 2017. The next year he appeared in the teen comedy series ‘On My Block’. In five episodes of the miniseries ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ he portrayed Joaquin Torres in 2021.

David Corenswet:
American actor David Corenswet will be seen starring as a cast member in the new film. He starred in Eric Bross’ political thriller ‘Affairs of State’ where Corenswet played a lead role. He appeared in one episode of procedural drama ‘Elementary’ in 2017 and the next year in a single episode of CBS Instinct’ and Netflix’s ‘House of Cards.

Another cast member of ‘Look Both Ways’ Luke Wilson’s notable roles were in ‘The Royal Tenenbaums’, ‘Legally Blonde’, ‘Idiocracy’, ‘Old School’, ‘Blue Streak, etc. He was cast as one of the main characters Pat Dugan in the superhero series ‘Stargirl’.
