Jaadugar (2022): Upcoming Netflix Film and Its Cast Members

Jaadugar (2022) Update: Sameer Saxena has directed the upcoming new Indian film ‘Jaadugar’ which is produced by by Chalkboard Entertainment along with Netflix and Posham Pa Pictures. The script of this romantic comedy movie is written by Biswapati Sarkar.

The plot of the film is set in Neemuch of M.P. where the central character lives. Being a small-time magician, he is known as ‘Magic Meenu’ in his hometown. But when he falls in love with a girl, he finds out that his love life is not quite smooth. Because to marry her Magic Meenu has to be the champion of a local football tournament.

In the roles of the central characters, we will be seeing Jitendra Kumar and Arushi Sharma. Other cast members of the upcoming movie include Jaaved Jaaferi, Dhruv Thukral, Bikram Malati, Raksha Panwar, Shivam Mehra, Sant Ranjan, Ajay Mehra, Ganesh Deokar, Shayank Shukla, etc.

Jitendra Kumar:
Popular Indian actor Jitendra Kumar rose to prominence through the role of Jeetu Bhaiya in the web series ‘Kota Factory’. This young actor has proven himself talented in a number of roles recently.

He began his acting career with an Indian feature film ‘Shuruaat Ka Interval’ where he played the role of Laxman in 2014. His other films include ‘Gone Kesh’ in 2019 where he co-starred with Shweta Tripathi in the role of Srijoy.

The next year he starred in two other films ‘Shubh Mangal’ and ‘Zyada Saavdhan’ in which he played the roles of Aman Tripathi and Prem Kumar Yadav respectively.

In 2014 Jitendra Kumar started acting in Web Series through the rom-com series ‘Permanent Roommates’ which is written and co-directed by Biswapati Sarkar and Sameer Saxena respectively like the upcoming film ‘Jaadugar’. The next year he appeared in ‘TVF Pitchers’ as Jitendra Maheshwari or Jeetu. In 2017 he appeared in the second season of ‘TVF Bachelors’ as well as in ‘Bisht, Please!’ and ‘F.A.T.H.E.R.S.’.

In 2018 Jitendra starred as Viren in the first season of ‘Mr. & Mrs.’. In the 2019 coming-of-age rom-com web series ‘ImMature’, he played the role of a drama teacher. The same year he appeared as himself in season 2 of ‘TVF Tripling’.

That year he starred in two more web series- ‘Humorously Yours’ and ‘Cheesecake’. Jitendra’s most significant web series ‘Kota Factory’ was released in 2019 and presents a number of students who have arrived in Kota to prepare for IIT.

They learn to deal with the immense pressure through the unorthodox behavior and advices of the physics teacher whom they call Jeetu Bhaiya. This is the role played by Jitendra Kumar in the series.

The second season of ‘Kota Factory’ was released on September 24, 2021, on Netflix. His latest series is ‘Panchayat’ where he played the role of the Panchayat secretary Abhishek Tripathi, acting which has gained him more reputation.

Arushi Sharma:
In the upcoming movie Magic, Meenu’s love interest is played by the Indian actress Arushi Sharma. Before being cast in ‘Jaadugar’, the significant films in which Sharma acted are ‘Tamasha’ and ‘Love Aaj Kal’. ‘Tamasha’ is a 2015 rom-com movie from India which is directed by the popular Indian director Imtiaz Ali starred by Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor as leading characters.

Sharma played the role of the history teacher of Ved, the character that Ranbir played. ‘Love Aaj Kal’ is another Imtiaz Ali-directed romantic comedy movie of 2020 where she played the role of one of the main characters’ former love interests.

Jaaved Jaaferi:
Indian actor cum dancer Jaaved Jaaferi is also one of the important cast members of the film. His father is the popular comedian Jagdeep. His filmography includes films like ‘Singh Is Kinng’, ‘Dhamaal’, ‘Kanbakkht Ishq’, ‘Loot’, ‘Double Dhamaal’, ‘Besharam’, ‘War Chhod Na Yaar’, ‘Mr. Joe B.
