Ratched Season 2 sequel, what will happen in Ratched 2

Ratched Season 2 Updates: The second season of Sarah Paulson’s most acclaimed Netflix series, Ratched, has unfortunately changed its release dates from June 2022, leaving fans all over the world disappointed.

The thriller series is based on Ken Kasey’s 1962 novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Since the first 28 days of the release of its first season the series had its claws on viewers all over the world.

Ratched has received four Emmy nominations and was named the ‘most-watched series debut of 2020’.

It has been two years since the release of the first season. I has been assured that there will be a second season without a doubt. But what is blocking the crew from releasing the long-awaited series?

Why this much demand for the sequel?

It’s no surprise that the plot has viewers eagerly waiting for Ratched 2. It only took the journey of a heartless nurse to a person with a past.

The second reason for the high demand is the possibility of a massive cast lineup. Cynthia Nixon will reprise her role as her love interest and lawyer, Gwendolyn Briggs, and Finn Wittrock will play her brother, the twisted Edmund Tolleson.

The cast members expected to appear on Ratched 2 include Sophie Okonedo as Charlotte Wells. Brandon Flynn as Henry Osgood, Judy Davis as Nurse Betsy Bucket.  Amanda Plummer will return as Louise and Vincent D’Onofrio as Governor George Milburn.

They also expect to introduce some new members as patients arrive at Lucia State.

Is there a release date yet?

Even though season 2 of the series has been listed on IMDB with 10 new episodes to be released, Netflix has yet to announce a release date for the second season.

What will happen in Ratched 2?

The ending of Season 1 differed greatly from what Ryan Murphy had planned. Nurse Ratched and Briggs begin a new life in Mexico, and Nurse Bucket ends up taking over Lucia State.

Ratched’s brother Edmund and his girlfriend Loise will undoubtedly meet in the new season with some vengeance to exact after learning that his sister attempted to murder him.

Why the delay of Ratched Season 2?

The exact reason for the delay is unknown. It may be difficult to match their schedule and complete the sequel on time. Because, Sarah and Ryan are being extremely demanding in the industry,

All we can hope for is a massive surprise regarding the release date during the 2022 Netflix Geek Week, or a surprise teaser of Ratched 2 appearing.
