Remarriage & Desires (Season 1) Update: Netflix has always been abundant in presenting more than South Korean Drama that the fans could want. To be added to that list another K-drama is waiting in the queue which has been directed by Kim Jeong-min. The plot of the series is a kind of satire on the remarriage market in Korean society.

It features the marriage information companies for the upper class and fabricates this story surrounding a woman who is determined to take vengeance upon a man who upended her life in such an information company.

Kim Hee-sun plays the role of Seo Hye-Seung, the woman whom the plot surrounds. Other cast members of the series are Lee Hyun-Wook, Jung Yoo-jin, Park Hoon, Kim Mi-Kyung, Kim Yoon-Seo, Cha Ji-Yeon, Kim Sa-Kwon, etc. The series is set to release on July 15, 2022, on Netflix.

Seo Hye-Seung played by Kim Hee-sun:

Seo Hye-Seung is a housewife of the upper-middle class who resides in Gangman. South Korean actress cum singer Kim Hee-sun plays the role of Seo Hye-Seung. Hee-sun has performed three singles titled ‘Endless Love’ (in ‘The Myth’), ‘No Matter How Many Times’ (in ‘Sad Love Story’), ‘Love Is’ (in ‘Mighty Fresh) in 2005 and 2011 respectively.

She kicked off her acting career with ‘Dinosaur Teacher’ in 1993 in the role of Kim Hee-sun. In 2005 she starred in K-drama Sad Love Story’ along with Kwon Sang-woo and Yeon Jung-hoon. Then the next year she was cast in ‘Smile Again’ in the role of Oh Dan-hee.

Co-starring with Lee Min-ho, Hee-sun played the role of Yoo Eun-soo in the 2012 South Korean series ‘Faith’. In 2014 she starred in ‘Wonderful Days’.

The next year she played the role of Jo Kang-Ja / Jo Bang-wool in K-drama Angry Mom’ and in the Chinese drama ‘Ice Fantasy’ the role of Lian Ji 2016. In the 2017 K-drama, ‘The Lady in Dignity’ Hee-sun was cast as Woo Ah-jin. She starred as Eulji Hae-Yi and Yoon Tae-Yi in the 2018 series ‘Room No. 9’ and in the 2020 series ‘Alice’ respectively.

South Korean actor Lee Hyun-Wook plays the role of venture company executive Lee Hyeong-Joo in the series. He studied acting at the Korea National University of Arts. In SBS’ South Korean thriller action series ‘Three Days’ and daily drama ‘Only Love’ Hyun-Wook starred as the right-hand man of Kim Do-jin and Choi Yoo-bin respectively in 2014. He also appeared in ‘Mrs. Cop 2’.

In OCN’s ‘Hell Is Other People’ he starred as Yoo Gi-hyuk in 2019. The same year he made a special appearance in ‘Pegasus Market’ and the next year he again made a special appearance in JTBC’ ‘The Good Detective’ as Park Gun-ho in 2020. Co-starring with Jang Dong-Yoon, Moon Jeong-hee, Krystal Jung, and Yoon Park he co-starred in K-drama Search’ in 2020. Yoo-jin’s films include ‘Beat’, ‘Like for Likes’, ‘Tune in for Love’, ‘A Year-End Medley’ etc. She began her tv series acting career with SBS’ drama ‘Heard It Through the Grapevine in the role of Jang Hyun-soo.

In 2019 she starred in another two tvN dramas ‘Romance Is a Bonus Book’ and ‘Catch the Ghost’ in the roles of Song Hae-rin and Ha Mari respectively. From 2021 to 2022 she played the role of Jang Han-na in the JTBC South Korean drama ‘Snowdrop’. Yoo-jin also starred in the music videos ‘V.V.I.P’, ‘Skeleton’, ‘Sweet’, ‘Crazy’, ‘Still Love You.
