Cobra Kai Season 5 Announced, Cast Members, and Their Previous Filmography

Cobra Kai Season 5 Updates: American martial arts comedy series ‘Cobra Kai’ is one of the most popular series on Netflix now. Robert Mark Kamen’s film ‘The Karate Kid’ is the prequel to that series.

On April 24, 2018, the series has its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival at the SVA Theatre of New York City. The first season of the series began a time that is thirty-four years after the events of ‘The Karate Kid’ in which Johnny Lawrence was defeated in the All-Valley Karate Tournament by Daniel LaRusso.

Now he is in his 50s fallen from his wealthy lifestyle and is engrossed in alcoholism and depression.

The third season of ‘Cobra Kai’ is set to release on September 9, 2022. William Zabka and Ralph Macchio will be seen reprising their roles as Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso respectively from the ‘The Karate Kid’ film series. The central antagonist of ‘The Karate Kid’ trilogy and the rival of Daniel LaRusso Johnny Lawrence is played by American actor and martial artist William Michael Zabka.

Amanda LaRusso is wife of Daniel. She is also the co-owner of a chain of car dealerships named LaRusso Auto Group. She contributes to moderating her husband’s hostility towards Johnny Lawrence.

American actress Courtney Henggeler portrays the character of Amanda. Her significant filmography includes films like ‘Kristin’s Christmas Past, ‘Fixed’, ‘Feed’, ‘Nobody’s Fool’, ‘Pilgrim’, ‘The Boys in the Boat’ etc.
