Netflix‘s upcoming miniseries ‘The Longest Night’ is set to release on July 8, 2022, in the United States and revolves around a psychiatric prison. In the prison, there is an imprisoned serial killer to catch and a group of armed men enters the prison. But the director of the prison resists them to do their task.

Argentine actor Alberto Ammann Rey is one of the primary cast members of the series who will be seen playing the role of a character named Hugo. Ammann is born in Córdoba of Argentina and is an actor cum musician.

His film career began with Daniel Monzón’s Spanish-French prison movie ‘Cell 211’. The character he portrayed is Juan Oliver who is also known as Calzones. He co-starred in the movie with Luis Tosar, Antonio Resines, Marta Etura, Carlos Bardem, Luis Zahera etc.

The next year he starred in the titular role of Andrucha Waddington’s Spanish-Brazilian ‘Lope: The Outlaw’. In 2011 he co-starred with Daniel Brühl, Marta Etura, Lluís Homar in sci-fi movie ‘Eva’. The next year he portrayed the role of Pablo in Daniel Calparsoro’s ‘Invasor’.
