The children’s classic adaptation of writer Roald Dahl, Netflix has launched a trailer of Roald Dahl’s Matilda, which is a stage musical version with lyrics by Tim Minchin. Its name is obviously based on Matilda, a cheerful, bold, charismatic, outspoken, little school-going girl.

Directed by Matthew Warchus, who has also directed for the stage, presented it as a kid Musical drama movie, featuring Alisha Weir playing the role of Matilda Wormwood, Emma Thompson as Miss Trunchbull, and Lashana Lynch as Miss Honey.

But her evil principal Miss Trunchbull doesn’t agree with it and she is constantly tormenting Matilda and other kids because she dislikes children.

So Matilda is surrounded by obstacles but Matilda remains a playful kid. Despite being an adaptation of a children’s classic book, it will connect the link of friendship, and companionship and will make the young adult audience fall in love with Matilda.
