Welcome to Eden Season 2 Renewal Announced By Netflix

Published by

Welcome to Eden Season 2 renewal has been announced by Netflix. A Spanish news outlet stated before the show’s premiere that Welcome to Eden had already been renewed for a second season and that filming would begin soon.

Joaquin Górriz and Guillermo López Sánchez developed and wrote the Spanish thriller series Welcome to Eden. All of the episodes were directed by Daniel Benmayor and Menna Fité, and the show was produced by Brutal Media.

It’s about four young adults who are invited to an exclusive party hosted by a new drink brand on a secret island.

The young adults, on the other hand, have no idea that the island they’re going to visit is teeming with sinister mysteries. For the guests, what begins as a joyful trip quickly turns into a nightmare.

Things worsen when the influencers learn that they will be forced to engage in violent gaming while stranded on a distant island. It’s similar to Squid Game, however, the players are social media socialites rather than desperate rivals.

If Season 2 is approved, the second season is likely to premiere in the spring or summer of 2023.

Any characters who made it to the end credits of Episode 8 will almost certainly be brought back if the show is renewed, according to individuals who have seen the entire first season.

The cast in the first season were as follows Amaia Aberasturi as Zoa, Belinda as África, Lola Rodríguez as Maika, Begoña Vargas as Bel, Amaia Salamanca as Astrid, Berta Vázquez as Claudia, Berta Castañé as Gaby, Ana Mena as Judit, Sergio Momo as Nico, Tomás Aguilera as Charly, Albert Baró asAldo, Guillermo Pfening as Erik.

The show amid its pomp and gloss and the obvious adventure theme is also a commentary on the vicious life of influence, popularity, and fake fame. After being lured by extravagant partying and fun, the influencers fall into grave danger and perform to survive.

This reflects the ongoing affairs of social media in the modern world. The audience is lured by the influencers and inevitably falls into the pits of envy, insecurity, and lack of confidence in the social media world.

Season 1 concluded on a major cliffhanger, implying that the next season will have to resolve a lot of questions.
