Mi 11 Ultra was launched on April 19, 2021, in China, and in India, it was launched on July 2021. It was the most hyped-up phone by Xiaomi with an Ultra display, Ultra Performance, and Ultra Specifications. But it was in 2021. But is it still worth buying a year-old phone in 2022?

Comparing the Ultra Design:
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is a huge and heavy device. The weight is mostly felt on the top of the device. It has a Ceramic Glass back, with a metallic side frame. The front glass has protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The rear end of the device has highlighted camera bump. The camera module is positioned and integrated such that the device doesn’t wobble which is a plus point over its main competitor. The camera module is well integrated with a secondary display.
Even after a year, the design is flagship no doubt.

Is the Display Ultra too?

What about the Cameras?
The back camera is the real highlight of the Xiaomi 11 Ultra. It has a triple camera setup. All the cameras, including the primary, telephoto, and ultra-wide are top-notch. The wide camera has a 50MP resolution, with a 48MP ultra-wide and 48MP telephoto lens.

Xiaomi 11 Ultra has an year old Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, which was flagship in 2021. It is available 3 varients:
– 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM
– 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM
– 12GB RAM + 512GB ROM
The RAM and ROM type is the latest, with LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 respectively. The device performs very well. It has  gaming capabilities too. There is an Android 12-based MIUI 12, capable and optimized enough for the device.. But it has bloatware too. In 2022, on comparing geek bench scores, the device has fewer scores as compared to flagships. There would be a subtle difference. If you are a heavy user then you can feel the difference. For normal usage and gaming, this processor is still recommendable.

Can it Support 5G?
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra supports 5G but has fewer bands. It supports NFC and dual-band Wi-Fi with WiFi 6e support and Bluetooth 5.2.

How’s the deal in 2022?
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is could be a great deal because it has a better camera setup, display, and audio. Although, the processor is a year old and has less 5G network. Being priced at ₹69,999, it is a great deal as it has ultra features that directly compete with Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Although these devices have a few more features at a high price, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra can be a great deal in 2022.
