Isla Fisher Elevates Silky Slit Gown with High-Shine Heels at G’Day AAA Arts Gala

Isla Fisher went all out for the G’Day American Australian Association (AAA) Arts Gala. The event honors America’s and Australia’s relationship, as well as the artistic achievements of luminaries from both countries. The gala’s 2022 honorees included Fisher, Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, and Tushar Apte, and it was held in Los Angeles.

The Australian actress wore a blue silk gown to accept her Excellence in the Arts Award at the JW Marriott LA LIVE. The colorful gown has a sculpted bodice and a dramatically draped skirt. A thigh-high slit gave the dress a sensuous twist, adding a provocative aspect to Fisher’s formalwear. Fisher completed her appearance with glitzy post earrings and a diamond bracelet.

A pair of glossy silver Jimmy Choo heels completed Isla Fisher’s look. The gleaming pair had front peep-toe straps and stiletto heels that were at least 4 inches tall. Ankle straps made of strands of glittering crystals completed the pair, adding even more glitz to Fisher’s ensemble. They provided Fisher with a glamorously slick height lift while beautifully complimenting her jewelry to create a sleek and glittering statement.

Metallic heels, like Fisher’s, are trendy in the current high heel revival, with a stiletto and block-heeled pairs gaining appeal. Due to their diverse tones and ability to make a bold statement, gold and silver pairs have become the most popular, as evidenced in new pairs by Tamara Mellon, Schutz, and Sam Edelman. In addition to Fisher, stars such as Dakota Fanning, Olivia Culpo, and Charli D’Amelio have been seen wearing Tom Ford, Rene Caovilla, and Femme LA sandals in recent weeks.

Fisher’s style, both on and off the red carpet, is frequently glitzy. During award season, the  “Wedding Crashers” star heroine frequently wears dresses by Alex Perry, Zuhair Murad, and Dior, among other prominent designers. She has been seen wearing Christian Louboutin platform pumps as well as Stuart Weitzman and Jimmy Choo strappy sandals.
