Coroner Season 4 Updates: Canadian police procedural series ‘Coroner’ is a popular drama in the list of crime series which has been adapted from M.R. Hall’s crime novels about Jenny Cooper who is a coroner of Toronto.
When the series opens she has recently lost her husband. But that does not come in the way of her vow to solve murders as she is seen on one hand struggling with her personal plight and on the other hand investigating deaths that seem to be suspicious.

The crime thriller series ‘Big Sky‘ is adapted from C. J. Box’s Highway series. The story begins with the kidnapping of two sisters from a highway in Montana.
To investigate this matter Police Detectives Cody Hoyt and Cassie Dewell come forth and they team up with ex-cop Jenny Hoyt who is Cody’s estranged wife. Gradually they find out the more horrible chain of crime behind the seemingly distinct case of that kidnapping.
Though the series managed to score only 61% on Rotten Tomatoes, many viewers have found the story appealing with its twisting mysteries and fast pacing. The series can be streamed on ABC.

American thriller series ‘Absentia’ begins the story with an FBI Special Agent’s presumed death after staying missing for a long period. The agent named Emily Byrne was pursuing the notorious serial killers of Boston.
But after years she is discovered inside a cabin in the woods. But now she cannot remember anything about what happened in the meantime. As she manages to come back home in a terrible condition, she finds her husband married to another. Soon enough, Byrne becomes entangled in another series of murders.
Stana Katic is seen to play the role of Emily Byrne in ‘Absentia’. Canadian-American actress Katie is best known for portraying Kate Beckett in the romantic comedy ‘Castle’. She is the winner of three TV Guide Magazine’s Fan Favorites Awards and three People’s Choice Awards.
Byrne’s husband in the series Nick Durand is also a Special Agent and is portrayed by Patrick Heusinger. He is an American actor who previously appeared in ‘Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce’, ‘Gossip Girl, and ‘Royal Pains’.
