Sandra Oh Got Very Sick While Working on Grey’s Anatomy

Sandra Oh struggled with her health issues after the debut of Grey’s Anatomy in 2005 threw her into the limelight. on the set of Variety’s Actors on Actors Series Oh said that Grey’s Anatomy’s arrival changed her life completely.”

”I got sick, very bad” my whole body was ill; I was in a lot of pain, but I kept working, and that’s what we should be doing. She said that I wasn’t able to sleep, my back was hurting. I wasn’t able to think about what is wrong with my skin and body. I learned the importance of a healthy body and I have to take care of myself, she added.

Sandra Oh gave this advice during a conversation and a discussion with Squid game star Jung Ho-Yeon Who earned fame overnight after the great success of his Netflix Series which premiered in September 2021.

Oh said should take care of not only our physical health but mental health also. During the time of her hit medical drama ABC, she has to struggle with her mental health. ”I learned the importance of mental health”, she added.

She further said we cannot depend on anyone, we have to do it ourselves.” It’s not just about our mind or our body, it’s about our soul”, she added.

Acting is draining work, I have to give my best to it”, Oh said. I have to spend time with myself to be creative and that could be sleeping, that could be Yoga lessons, that could be cycling, that could be meditation, that could be all those things we could do. she said.

Oh mentioned a character Eve from  AMC’s Killing which she played. she said the character was about founding herself in this real world.”I felt like what I laid down was real, at least hopefully,” she added.
