The well-known actor cum comedian of America Kevin Darnell Hart is a winner of a number of stand-up comedy competitions and star of various tv-series and movies. This 42-year-old actor is born in Philadelphia of Pennsylvania.

He first appeared on stage in 2001 and his career began to progress at rather a slow pace. In Hart’s childhood, he couldn’t see much of his father as Henry Hart was a cocaine addict and was often imprisoned. His mother Nancy Hart raised him as a single parent.

This troubled family life rendered Hart to adopt the mechanism of using humor to cope with pains from a very early age. Though it is known that his father later recovered from his addiction and was able to improve his relationship with his son.

But he did not get disheartened and decided to go at his own pace, finding and founding his own rhythm and style to make the audience like his shows. Gradually the laughs were louder and Hart’s face was made familiar.

The earlier of his comedy tours include ‘I’m a Grown Little Man’ (2009), ‘Seriously Funny’ (2010), ‘Laugh at My Pain’ (2011), and ‘Let Me Explain’ (2013). His next tour was the ‘Irresponsible Tour’ which was executed in 2017 and 2018. In 2022 Hart has begun the ‘Reality Check Tour’.

Hart first appeared in an urban comedy film called ‘Paper Soldiers’ in which he played the lead role- of a character named Shawn. The next year in 2003 he starred in two films ‘Scary Movie 3’ and ‘Death of a Dynasty.

‘Along Came Polly’ and ‘Soul Plane’ came the next year with ‘The 40-Year-Old Virgin’ and ‘In the Mix’ in the year after that proving Hart’s an already busy schedule. In 2006 was released ‘Scary Movie 4’ in which Hart reprised his previous Scary Movie role.

In the 2007 parody movie, ‘Epic Movie’ which parodied movies like ‘Chronicles of Narina’, ‘Harry Potter, ‘And the Pirates of the Caribbean’, Hart appeared as himself.

The next year Hart starred in five movies – ‘Fool’s Gold’ (as Bigg Bunny), ‘Superhero Movie’ (Trey), ‘Extreme Movie’ (as Barry), ‘Meet Dave’ (Number 17), and ‘Drillbit Taylor’ (Pawn Shop Dealer).

In 2010 he starred in ‘Something Like a Business, ‘Death at a Funeral’, a black comedy movie, and ‘Litfls Fockers’. The same year he could be seen as himself in the documentary film ‘Kevin Hart: Laugh at My Pain’.

The next year he starred in ‘Grudge Match’ and appeared in ‘This Is the End’ and ‘Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain’ as himself. The latter is a stand-up comedy concert movie that features Hart’s Madison Square Garden performance the year before the movie was released.

In 2014 Hart appeared in five more movies. Then in 2015 in the romantic comedy ‘The Wedding Ringer’ Hart played the lead role. The next year besides ‘Ride Along 2’ and ‘Central Intelligence’ he starred in ‘Kevin Hart: What Now?’ where he appeared as himself to portray his same-named stand-up comedy.

In 2017 he starred in ‘The Upside’ and in the popular fantasy adventure comedy movie ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. In 2019 he starred in ‘Hobbs & Shaw and in ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ reprising his previous role in the latter.

In 2021 he produced and starred in ‘Fatherhood’ and ‘The One and Only Dick Gregory’. ‘The Man from Toronto’ which is an action-comedy movie in which Hart will again co-star with Kaley Cuoco is set to release on June 24, 2022.

The TV Series in which Hart had important roles include ‘The Big House’, ‘Wild ‘n Out’, ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’, ‘TKO: Total Knock Out’, ‘Kevin Hart: Don’t F**k This Up’, ‘Die Hart’ in all of which except for the first two he appeared as himself.

‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’ is an American tv show where husbands from Hollywood share the story of their lives. ‘TKO: Total Knock Out’ is a tv competition in which Hart serves as the host.

In ‘Die Hart’ Hart appears as the familiar funnyman but with an aspiration of becoming an action hero. But for this, he has to first get schooled.

Hart was married to Torrei Hart from 2003 to 2011. In 2016 he married Eniko Parrish. He is the father of four children.
