About The Show

The show which came with its very first pilot on YouTube Red, in May 2018, is actually a follow-up installment to another cult classic coming-to-age action drama- The Karate Kid or you can say it’s a tribute to it.

It is one of the best of its common but unique kind of genre, the protagonists & antagonist of the Karate Kid come together in the show as their children unknowingly collide with each other in school & in the world of karate & as soon as the fathers get to be enlightened by this information they react to it differently as per their nature.

The first season is just a nostalgic trip for Millenials who have grown up watching the actors who have grown from a child in the classic. The show starts from simple one-sided love, traveling through school rivalry, karate & All Valley Tournament to the older rivalry coming back from the ashes. The show digs into the characters from the cult classic to lead us into the more humanistic nature of both the protagonist & antagonist.

Editing of the show ended on 17th  April 2022 as per the statements made by the editor of the show- Jon Hurwitz. As per the creators, the show will start premiering on Netflix in Sept 2022, the information came directly with its trailer on the 9th of June.
