Nick Jonas and Brothers Celebrating Grand Opening of New Family Restaurant in Las Vegas

The Jonas family is celebrating a very special occasion! On Saturday night (June 4) at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, Joe, Kevin, and  Nick Jonas attended the grand opening of their family’s new restaurant, Nellie’s Southern Kitchen.

Kevin’s wife, Danielle Jonas, and their two daughters, Alena, 8, and Valentina, 5, were in attendance at the grand opening.

Frankie Jonas, the younger brother of the Jonas Brothers, and their parents, Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr, were also present. In an interview, Nick Jonas stated that they called the restaurant after his late grandmother’s name and the dishes are influenced by her recipe.

The menus feature Southern favorites like shrimp and grits and fried okra, as well as breakfast selections and an extensive drink menu.

“My great-grandmother passed on her recipes to my grandmother, who passed them on to my mother, who passed them on to our chefs. We protected the natural recipes and made sure Nellie’s professional chefs knew how to make them just like my family before figuring out how to serve them to our customers.” According to Kevin Sr.

Kevin Sr. walked the carpet ahead of his four sons and even sang onstage inside the party, proving that musical talent runs in the family.

Nellie’s Southern Kitchen, named after Kevin Srlate .’s grandmother, first opened its doors in Belmont, North Carolina, in 2016. Following the success of Kevin Srhometown .’s location, the family decided to open a second location in Las Vegas.

“When you walk in, we want you to find that Southern hospitality and comfort that my grandmother represented,” Kevin Sr. told PEOPLE in November, shortly after the Las Vegas location was announced.
