An American Psychological thriller, “Dark Winds Season 1” is premiering with season one this year. The series is based upon the book series of the name Leaphorn and Chee by Tony Hillerman. The show is set up in the 1970s, where two police officers Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee are challenged by their own beliefs while finding clues in a double murder case.

Dark Winds Season 1 Release Date
“Dark Winds” is all set to release this year. As said earlier it is based on the Leaphorn and Chee book the first season is said to have six episodes in total. The filming of these episodes had begun in August last year. The series was mainly shot in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Apart from these, it was shot across various regions of Mexico like the Navajo Nation, Tesuque Pueblo, and more. The shooting for the series had been wrapped up in November last year.
All geared up to release, the release date of season 1 of “Dark Winds” is 12 June 2022. The first two episodes will be released together on 12 June while the rest four will be released gradually. Running around police procedures, solving mysteries, cases and handling one’s own belief, it is going to be as fun as you would want it to be.
