I Am Groot Disney+ Release Date and Trailer

I Am Groot Release Date has been finally revealed by Marvel Studios which will be released on Disney+ and Vin Diesel will be back as the voice of Groot. Although his dialogues will be only “I Am Groot” I know fans are excited about the short-animated series.

The series will be about the Guardian of Galaxy’s main character Groot, previously I was thinking that Marvel will release the series with Guardian of the Galaxy: Holiday Special, But now Marvel has officially confirmed that the animated series is coming very soon after Ms. Marvel.

Release Date of I Am Groot

Yesterday on 5th June 2022 Marvel Studios announced the Release Date of I Am Groot on Twitter and Instagram with a brand new poster of baby Groot Chilling and listening to music as if he was in Guardian of the Galaxy Volume 2.

In the poster, we can see the Release Date of the series is August 10, 2022. And as this is going to be a short animated series so we may not get more than 6 episodes or the number and duration of the episodes will be shorter than other series of Marvel of Disney+.

About the show

we can see in the poster Groot is still baby Groot, But in Avengers: Endgame we had seen him as a teenager Groot, so the story of I Am Groot will be placed after the Guardian of the Galaxy Volume 2, between 2014 and 2018 if the story of the Groot will be placed in MCU Canon.

Which other characters may appear in the series?

I don’t think other characters of Guardian of the Galaxy may appear in the series but I can confirm that Rocket will be seen in the series, as we all know baby Groot Rocket was like his father which we had seen in the Guardian f the Galaxy Volume 2.

As the series has been announced as the shot series so the length of the videos may be 1-5 minutes only and these episodes will be the filler between Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law which is also coming in August.
