Finally! Johnny Depp wins the 6 week long battle

Johnny Depp won the defamation case against ex-wife Amber heard, who called him a women beater. Finally, after a 6-week-long trial for at Fairfax County Circuit Court, the jury has come up with a verdict on May 27 as Johnny Depp won the defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard and she has been ordered to give 15 million dollars in damage.

Just to remind y’all, Pirates of the Caribbean actor Johnny Depp filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife and actress Amber Heard over her article written in the op-ed of the Washington Post which she wrote about her being a victim of domestic abuse in her last marriage.

She didn’t mention Depp’s name but it was very clear to whom she was referring, Depp took the matter seriously and filed a defamation case against her asking for $50 million for damaging his image, later Amber too sued him for $100 million on the claims of being a physically and sexually assaulted by Depp.

The 6-week-long trial saw shocking revelations and a huge number of evidence from both sides that even included voice calls.

Since the case is over now, from common people to famous personalities, everyone is sharing their opinion through various platforms and everyone’s opinion differs from others as some are favoring Depp while some believe that Amber has faced injustice.

Earlier, Amber has faced massive trolling and humiliation on social media after the leaked call between Depp and Heard went viral. After the end of the trial, both Depp and Heard shared a written note on social media, and surprisingly around the same time, Depp expressed his contentment and satisfaction he mentioned that the main moto of the legal battle was to reveal the truth, regardless of the outcome, Depp mentioned that he has attained peace after accomplished his aim, Depp also thanked the people who supported him throughout this tough period.
