Fairfax Season 2 is back. The series revolves around Fairfax in Los Angeles and around four middle school best friends who are constantly looking to be famous.

The series is an open narration directed to the entire Gen-Z community who aspire to have clout and fame and harbor similar opinions and feelings about social media.

This commentary holds true for all users of social media to aspire to an influencer lifestyle. The series throws light on the perpetual sad lives of individuals who believe in the world of shiny social media and are on a constant quest to be cooler than they are in actuality.

The four best friends: Dale (voiced by Skyler Gisondo). Derica (Kiersey Clemons), Benny (Peter S. Kim), and Truman (Jaboukie Young-White). Dale is a newbie who has recently moved to LA from Oregon.

Derica wants to become a model and is also interested in activism or so she portrays herself to be. One distinct feature about benny is that he is obsessed with sneakers and finally, Truman is the kid who wishes to become a filmmaker.

The cast also includes other famous names like Fieri, Billy Porter, Zoey Deutch, Camila Mendes, Yvette Nicole Brown, Annie Murphy, and Ben Schwartz.

The series has an 80% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and good reviews from critics and viewers who have enjoyed this satire alike. It is safe to say that we can expect more of such wacky humor in season 2 as well.

The show is produced by Robbie James with Somehoodlum as the animator. The show is being distributed by Amazon Studios which is also one of the production houses.

This adult comedy-fantasy has some raunchy and nuanced scenes but the dialogues, animation, and characters bode well with the theme and aim of the show.

The first season has a total of eight episodes with a bonus episode and two episodes of Season 2 are scheduled to be released on June 10th. Season 2 will most likely have eight episodes as well. Each episode runs for 30 minutes.
