The viral photo containing the one-page contract dates back to May 23, 1992. Also, for the small photoshoot, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was paid a whopping amount of Rs.1, 500. Back in the 1990s, Rs.1500 was considered a handsome amount.

One netizen talked about how this amount was sufficient to run a family of 5 back in the 1990s. But, on the contrary, earned this handsome amount in just one day of the photoshoot. However, after the contract images went viral on social media, ace photographer Vimal Upadhayay also dropped some old-fashioned photos featuring Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Now coming back to 2022, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has returned to her humble abode in Mumbai after scorching the red carpet of Cannes 2022. Hubby Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aradhya Bachchan also accompanied the 48-year-old actress to the 75th Cannes Film Festival.

On the Work Front 

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan,48, is set to woo her audience with the two upcoming movies in the kitty. She has Ponnyin Selvan Part 1 and Jasmine: Story of a Leased Womb in the pipeline.

Interestingly, Aishwarya Rai will be sharing the screen with her father-in-law and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan in Ponniyin Selvan Part 1. The upcoming project will be based on the works of Kalki Krishnamurthy, Ponniyin Selvan Part 1.

The forthcoming project would be an adaption from the historical novel with the same name per the reports. Helmed by the godly hands of Mani Ratnam, the upcoming project is expected to hit the screens this year.
