Karan Johar is one of the most powerful personalities in the entire Indian film industry, and he is the heart and soul of the Bollywood industry.

Whatever project he works on is always in news and he has such an aura that he always remains in the headlines. A day ago, KJo turned 50 and the iconic filmmaker celebrated his birthday with all the top names in the Bollywood insistent.

The birthday bash took place at Yash Raj Studios while stars and his close friends like designer Manish Malhotra, SRK’s wife Gauri Khan, and his bestie Ayan Mukerji directly met Karan at his house in Bandra.

His birthday bash was packed with stars including Veteran Divas Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Shonali Bedrea, Raveena Tandon, and more. To our surprise, Mr. Perfectionist was also present at the event with his ex-wife Kiran Rao.

Karan Johar has become a prominent figure in Bollywood today, he made his directorial debut in 1998 with the romantic film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which became a superhit and broke many records and won multiple filmfare awards in different categories.

His arrival was splendid and his next film was even more successful as Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham broke all records and went on to become the highest-grossing movie ever worldwide at that time. Karan has taken Dharma Productions to new heights after he took over the company in 2004.

Many current top stars of Bollywood made their debut with Dharma Productions under KJO’s guidance, stars like Alia Bhatt,

Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan also made their debut with Dharma in the 2012 release Student Of The Year.

Karan’s Dharam productions were the company that distributed the Hindi version of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and it is currently the 2nd highest-grossing Indian movie worldwide after Dangal. At age 50, it seems like he has just started and his upcoming projects are bombs that include Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which will be released next month, the much-awaited Ranbir-Alia starrer Brahmastra, and a few more films that he will be directing.
