Canon EOS R7 and Canon EOS R10: Price, Lightweight, APS-S image sensor and more

Canon EOS R7 and Canon EOS R10launched by Canon. Both DSLRs are very lightweight and are almost similar looking. They aren’t very heavy, but they are heavy with features. The R10 is cheaper than R7 and has almost similar features.

Body and design:  R7 and R10 have plastic bodies. They are very light in weight and are convenient to hold. The screen of the device is flippable. The flippable screen should be convenient for vlogging too.

Camera specifications: The Canon EOS R7 and R10 are almost similar, but there is a difference in the camera resolution. The Canon R7 has a 22 MP camera sensor whereas the R10 has a 32MP camera resolution. The Canon EOS R10 has an electronic shutter speed of 23 FPS and the R7 has an electronic shutter speed of 30 FPS. Both of these cameras can record in 4K 60 FPS. Both of the cameras have a DIGIC X image processing engine. Canon has also improved the autofocus technology on this device.

Both Canon EOS R7 and R10 camera have a feature of RAW burst and captures full-resolution RAW images up to 30FPS. The camera makers do say that before the shutter is released, it starts recording the scene 0.5 seconds before. Additionally, the R7 and R10 have a feature of Movie Digital IS, which has 5-axis image Stabilization for jitter-free videos.

Video Recording in the new DSLRs

During video recording, the Canon EOS R7 can use 7K oversampling to record high-quality 4K UHD video at 30 FPS. It can shoot 4K 60FPS videos in 4K UHD Stabdard mode. The Canon EOS R10 can capture 4K UHD at 30FPS by using 6K oversampling.

The R7 and R10 are mirrorless cameras that were launched in India on Tuesday. These are the first devices that are equipped with an APS-C image sensor.

Price: The price of Canon EOS R7 is set at $1499.00 for only the body. Canon EOS R10 is set at $980 only body. These DSLRs can fit the new lenses which were launched alongside these DSLR’S.
