For the unversed, Deepika Padukone was one of the eight selected juries for the 75th CFF (Cannes Film Festival 2022). French actor Vicent Lindon was exalted as this year’s President of the Jury. Besides Deepika Padukone, the other jury members were Jeff Nichols (US film director), Jasmine Trinca (Italian actress), Joachim Trier (Norweigan film director), Noomi Rapace (Swedish Actress), Rebecca Hall (British Actress), Ladj Ly (French film director) and Asghar Farhadi (Iranian film director).

Apart from Deepika Padukone, several Hindi film industry stars marked their presence at the 75th Cannes Film Festival. Pooja Hegde, Tamannaah Bhatia, R.Madhavan, A.R Rehman, Urvashi Rautela, Kamal Haasan, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui walked down the red carpet with sheer elegance.
Union Minister for Information Broadcasting and Youth Affairs, Anurag Thakur, also inaugurated the Indian pavilion of the 75th CFF.
