Redmi Note 11 Pro+: A Device With Great Specification, But Not Great Price.

Redmi Note 11 Pro+, the Indian variant of Xiaomi, was earlier known for releasing budget smartphones. Now, the company has been beyond that, with its new Redmi Note 11 Pro +, which is the successor of the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. The Note series has been the favorite series of users in India and has been one of the highest-selling too.

What does Redmi offer with this device  – Note 11 Pro+?

Box Content: The box consists of the device itself, along with a clear transparent case, which fits well to the device, a 120W fast charger, a USB-A to USB-C charging port, and paperwork.

Design of the device: The design of the device is very boxy. The back of the device is carved out of glass. The camera bump does protrude out of the back. The sides of the device are flat, while most of the devices have curved, These flat sides offer great grip to the device.

The right side of the device has a lock/unlock button, with a volume controller. The bottom of the device has a dual nano sim slot alongside a USB-C charging port and a speaker grill. The top of the device has a headphone jack, another speaker grill, and an IR blaster.

First Impressions: Note 11 Pro+ feels very comfortable to hold due to its flat design. The back of the device has an interesting design. The device feels sturdy while holding. While holding the phone, it does feel that it is wide. The front display of the device is the punch-hole display.

Display: Redmi Note 11 Pro+ has a 6.67-inch FHD+, with a 120Hz Refresh Rate display. The display of the device is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which enhances the durability of the device. The display is saturated. The major drawback of this display is, that it cannot play 4K resolution videos.

Battery: Redmi Note 11 Pro+ has a 4500mAh battery which gets recharged with a 120W fast charger. The company claims, that 0-100% of batter in 15 minutes, which is seriously fast. As the processor architecture of this device is 6nm, the battery backup is great and might provide a day’s battery backup.

Specifications: Note 11 Pro + is fitted with MediaTek Dimensity 960 processor. This processor is very power efficient and gives excellent performance. This device has an Octa-Core CPU. The device performs excellent with this processor. Its 6nm architecture helps the device save some battery too. The gaming performance of this processor is excellent. This processor is tuned with three variants. A 6GB RAM + 128 GB ROM, or 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, and 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM.

Camera: The Redmi Note 11 Pro + is equipped with a triple camera setup, unlike the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max which had a Quad Camera setup. The Primary sensor of this device is 108MP, along with 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view and a 2MP macro lens. The front camera of the device has a 16MP resolution, The picture on this device is well balanced, and saturated. The selfie camera too clicks decent pictures. On the videography front, the device has 1080p video recording only. This device doesn’t support 4K video recording or screen playback because it is the limitation of the processor.

Connectivity: Redmi has equipped this phone with a 5G supported processor. It also has a wi-Fi 6, dual-band, along with Bluetooth 5.2, 4G VoLTE dual. The connectivity with 4G would be much better than existing 4G devices, due to more bands.

Final Verdict: The price of the device is beyond 20K, it starts with 20,999INR, which is touching flagship-level price. The highest-spec variant of this device starts at 23,999INR. You can keep this device as an option if the 6GB+128GB specification is comfortable. For higher specifications, you can try for OnePlus or iPhone SE, because this device misses out on a lot.
