iPhone 13 Mini Update: Apple doesn’t sell products, it sells excellence and the excellence in their product is visible. This time they have packed the most powerful chip, the A15, in one of their smallest size iPhones, the 13 mini. It is the handiest yet ahead of almost all flagship devices in the market.
Box content: The box of the iPhone 13 mini consists of a USB-C to lightning cable and some documentation and a white Apple Sticker. There is no adaptor. If one doesn’t have one, you have to buy a charger additionally. There are various other accessories, such as MagSafe and Apple Earpods with a lightning cable which you have to buy additionally.
Body and Design: The phone has a glossy glass black panel. The camera module is set up at the top left of the back panel. The sides of 13 mini are carved out of metal due to which the device feels premium and durable. The right side of the device has a lock/unlock button
The left side of the device consists of volume control, a toggle switch to mute/unmute the device, and a sim card tray. The bottom of the device has a lightning port along with a speaker grill and a microphone.
The notch of the front display is small as compared to older iPhone models and the speaker grill has been shifted to the top.
Display: iPhone 13 mini has a Super Retina XDR display with a 5.4″ OLED panel which has a 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution. It has an HDR display, with a true tone and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. The front display is protected with a ceramic shield, making it tough.
The device is IP68 certified, that is, it is splash, water, and dust resistant. The display might not have any problem with viewing angles because it is an OLED panel. Colors are bright and saturated, thanks to True Tone.
Performance and Software: The device is powered by an A15 Bionic chip with a 6-Core CPU, 4-Core GPU, and 16-core neural engine. Due to the smaller size and display, the GPU performance is great. Games are very smooth on this device.
The RAM management is also excellent and should be perfect for daily usage.
Out of the box, the device is installed with iOS 15, which is optimized perfectly with the A15 Bionic.
Camera and Videography: The camera setup of the iPhone 13 mini is diagonal because it has a dual 12MP camera system. Both are wide and ultra-wide cameras. The ultra-wide camera offers a 120° field of view. The camera has some advanced tech such as Portrait Mode with Bokeh and Depth Control, Night Mode, Deep fusion, and Smart HDR 4.
The device also has 4K video recording at 24fps, 30fps, or 60fps. It has a cinematic mode, along with audio zoom and true tone flash. Surprisingly, the device can take Night Mode Timelapse and HDR recording with Dolby Vision up to 4K at 60fps. The camera tech and A15 make the picture and Videography exceptionally excellent.
Connectivity: The iPhone 13 mini is equipped with 5G. The flat sides help the 5G band for better networking. It is also equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC with reader mode. The device is equipped with all types of sensors.
Final Verdict: If you want to enter into the Apple ecosystem, but with the latest and greatest features and design, then you can prefer iPhone 13 mini over the SE or past iPhones. This device has features better than flagship devices and can give you a smooth experience.
