So You Think You Can Dance Season 17 Update: If you have been missing the popular dance reality show “So You Think You Can Dance” then this exciting news is just for you all. Hopefully, after three years break, the popular dance reality show is planning its comeback on the network.

Well yes, the reality show is making its way back for its viewers and here we are to tell you if its arrival is official or just a speculation.

So You Think You Can Dance Season 17 officially announced?

“So You Think You Can Dance” show has been an Emmy Award-winning show. Owing to the popularity of the show, it even continued the show for a long 16 seasons. However, don’t think the journey of it is over as we have the season 17 of it arriving really soon.

In fact, if you are thinking that the announcement of its arrival isn’t official. Then it isn’t so. We have the season 17 of “So You Think You Can Dance” coming up soon this year as it’s officially confirmed.

Release Date Of So You Think You Can Dance Season 17

We had the season 16 of the dance reality show of Fox back in 2019 last time. After which there was a huge gap and finally we got it happening this year. Well, this year the season 17 of the dance show is releasing on May 18th at 9pm ET/PT on Fox.

With that premiere of the show we will get to see the best dancers from different cities making their way to the show through the auditions. The age group for the dancers this time too would be restricted to 18-30 years.

While the dance reality show is premiering this week. We have the auditions of it happening in New York, Los Angeles and New Orleans. Apart from that the dance forms on the dance reality show is going to be hip hop, contemporary, ballroom etc.

However, since the auditions have not taken place hence we can’t say anything about who would be the contestants this time on the show. Yet as far as the judges of the show are concerned then we do have updates on who might be in the judges panel this time.

Judges Of The Show

It was earlier stated that the judges panel for season 17 of the dance reality show this time would have Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, along with Laurieann Gibson. However, they are not the judges anymore. In fact we have a new panel coming up this season.

The judges for season 17 this time is to have Stephen “tWitch” Boss. Further joining Stephen would be Matthew Morrison and JoJo Siwa. Nigel isn’t coming back because he hasn’t been considered for this season this time.
