Asur has already released the first of its season in 2020. The series has worked well and that is the reason why it has been renewed for a second season. The first-ever season was released on 2 March 2020 and it came with 8 episodes. Talking about Asur Season 2 then it is expected to get released in the mid of 2022. And the release date has yet to be confirmed by the makers.

Talking about the plot of Asur then it is set in the mystical city of Varanasi. There is an Asur that follows the character called Nikhil who is a forensic expert and also a teacher.

He is from the CBI and he tries to find all these things along with his mentor Dhananjay. He found himself getting caught in a mouse game with a serial killer. The series has all kinds of suspense and involvement in mythology.

Asur Season 2 will have the same cast as the season 1 and they are here as follows: Arshad Warsi will be again as Dhananjay Rajput, Barun Sobti will be seen again as Nikhil Nair, Anupriya Goenka must be as Naina Nair, Ridhi Dogra will be again as Nusrat Saeed.
