Taapsee Pannu is all set for her Production debut!

Taapsee Pannu is a well-known name in the Bollywood industry today, she has impressed fans and made her presence felt with some exceptional acting. Taapsee has done movies in pretty much all the languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.

She made her Bollywood debut in the 2013 comedy Chashme Baddoor directed by David Dhawan which wasn’t a big success but Taapsee got recognition with her back-to-back hits in 2015 and 2016 through the movie Baby and Pink.

Then her first big movie was Judwaa 2 starring Varun Dhawan, the film wasn’t appreciated by the film critics but it did manage to generate a good collection at the box office. She has been part of plenty of average movies like Mulk, Manmarziyaan, Badla, Mission Mangal, Saand ki Aankh, and Thappad.

She has also won two Filmfare awards in her career and now the star is all set to make her production debut as she gears up to produce her first film titled Dhak Dhak starring Fatima Sana Sheikh, Sanjana Sheikh, Dia Mirza and veteran actor Ratna Pathak Shah and the movie will be directed by Tarun Dudega.

Taapsee Pannu shared some details of her upcoming project

Noticeably, Taapsee has collaborated with Viacom18 Studios with her production house Outsiders Films. In an interview she spoke up about Viacom18 being a part of her career right from her Bollywood debut and she is really for her next venture with the company.

Talking about the film she told that the film is based on the life of four women who fight for their freedom. Meanwhile, Tapsee will also be seen in her upcoming movie Shaabash Mithu which is a biopic of a female Indian cricketer, Test and ODI captain of India women’s national team Mithali Raj, the movie will be released this year on 15 July and it is directed by Srijit Mukherji.
