The Body of Huawei MateBook 16:
Huawei MateBook 16 has a metal body. The body looks sturdy and doesn’t slick in the middle of the lid. The lid does open with one hand. The left side of the laptop consists of 2 USB-C ports along with an HDMI port and a headphone jack. The other side of the laptop consists of two USB ports.
The bottom of the laptop consists of two strips of rubber grip and ventilation for the fan. One of the two rubber strips is uplifted, for proper ventilation. The weight of the laptop is approximately 2 kg.

Huawei MateBook 16 has a high-quality key. The keyboard is surrounded by speaker strips on both left and the right side of the keyboard. The keyboard is back-lit and does consist of a status light on fn (function), mute, and Caps key. The camera is integrated within one of the function keys, which is very strange because the camera is positioned at the bottom. While typing your hands will be visible which doesn’t look during a call.

Huawei MateBook 16 has a display with a minimum brightness of 7 nits, which is good for night use, and a maximum brightness of 300 nits. Using this device in clear sunlight wouldn’t be comfortable. The display is saturated and balanced with color. As there is no camera on the bezels so, the screen-to-body aspect ratio is 90% with an aspect ratio of 3:2. So viewing angles is never an issue. The media consumption experience is fabulous.
The Software:
Huawei MateBook 16 is powered by two processors, an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor and AMD Ryzen 5 5600H Mobile Processor which is manageable with daily work. Video editing on this laptop might not be a good experience because there might be a few frame drops.
The benchmark scores on this are 1427 for Single-Core and 7247 for Multi-Core. The device is equipped with 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB NVMe SSD, which does improve the performance. The device is equipped with AMD Radeon Graphics which perform great for gaming. Popular games such as GTA V and Counter-Strike are compatible with the device.

The response of the speakers is great. The sound is punchy, and the bass and the mids are well contained by the speaker. The entertainment experience with a bezel-less display and nice pair of speakers is great on the device. The device does contain a dual microphone and they are positioned at the bottom. The microphone output is great, but if you are in a meeting, the sound of the keys might be heard by the receiver.

It supports both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz, bands.
Final Verdict:
Huawei MateBook 16 is priced at ₹71,500(approx) but you might get a better deal at a much cheaper price with Intel i5 11th Generation processors and Intel Iris graphic card. But both, Intel and AMD processors are best on their front, both have their pros and cons.
