Why Black Adam Got Delayed & The New Release Date and Much More.

Published by

Black Adam Update: If you are a diehard fan of DCEU (DC Extended Universe), you must be aware that movie delays are not something new.  For those who were eagerly waiting for the Black Adam, the following revelation will certainly disappoint them. One of the producers of Black Adam has spilled the beans about the film’s delayed release.

You won’t disagree if we say that none of the superhero movies would have been possible without visual effects. Thus, VFX is nothing less than a backbone upon which the whole movie relies on. But you must be wondering why we are talking about VFX all of a sudden. Isn’t it?

Then we must tell you that VFX is the reason behind the further delay of the much-awaited movie.  Black Adam’s producer Hiram Garcia has addressed the issue of the delay in an interview.

Garcia talked about how the pandemic has put the world on hold, and the industry wasn’t also left untouched by the impact of the pandemic. He further added that the VFX houses have a lot on their plates right now.

Timeline of the Delay:

Dwayne Johnson came on board for the role of Black Adam in September 2014. Earlier, Johnson was supposed to be featured as a villain in the movie Shazam. But three years later, in 2017, the movie makers made up their minds to introduce the character in their own film.

The movie was supposed to hit the screens in December last year. But then the release date was shifted to July 29, 2022. Unfortunately, the further delay of the movie announced in March abuzz everyone.

However, the makers were left with no option but to postpone the film, keeping the sudden surge of Covid-19 cases in mind.

After several delays, Black Adam is done and dusted to hit the screens on October 21, 2022. Any further delay in the movie will leave the fans discontented.

Soon, the DC fans will be able to catch their favorite character with a bucked of popcorn in one hand and a glass of coke in another inside the theatres.
