Netflix has released a series of new images from The Umbrella Academy Season 3, featuring new and returning actors. The Netflix superhero series is based on a series of comic books by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá published by Dark Horse Comics.
The Umbrella Academy is following a family of children’s heroes who were forced to avoid the impending apocalypse following the death of their neglected adoptive father.
After twice blocking the apocalypse and relocating to the 1960s, the Hargreeves family returned to The Umbrella Academy for the last season 2, but not yet remembering. After arriving at their rebuilt children’s home, Viktor (Elliot Page), Luther (Tom Hopper), Diego (David Castañeda), Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman), Klaus (Robert Sheehan), and Five (Aidan Gallagher) confronted face to face. and Ben now living (Justin H. Min), their father Sir Reginald (Colm Feore), and a new band, Sparrow Academy.
Following the revealing of two posters for both full school lists, a series of new photos have been released ahead of The Return of The Umbrella Academy, mocking fans for what awaits Hargreeves kids in this unfamiliar new world.
Netflix has released thirteen previews of Umbrella Academy season 3, featuring photos taken in a few episodes. Next to the photos that revive the cliffhanger for the second season and show off Hargreeves’ siblings in this new release, Netflix also shared photos of the rival Sparrow Academy.

These include captions of Ben, Marcus (Justin Cornwell), Fei (Britne Oldford), Alphonso (Jake Epstein), Sloane (Genesis Rodriguez), and Jayme Hargreeves (Cazzie David) wearing their Sparrow Academy uniforms, and more. The series of photos also included a look at Reginald, another superhero Lila Pitts (Ritu Arya), and Euphoria star Javon Walton, currently unknown.
As mocked in its SXSW trailer, Umbrella Academy season 3 will see the first-class Umbrella Academy clash with its new season-time counterparts.
Raver-Lampman joked in an interview in February 2022 that the season 3 story will surpass anything fans have ever seen before, explaining that Umbrella Academy describes itself as its unseen story at its source. Thus, the star indicated that the series will be much larger, due to the value of VFX and other back-end production.
Umbrella Academy season 3 will be a big step in the unknown for the Hargreeves family. Not only are your siblings trapped in a new world of unknown revelations but they are also facing threats that they may know very little about.
Aside from Lila and Viktor’s short stint as a potential cause of the apocalypse, the Hargreeves brothers had to contend with insignificant threats and trauma.
With some undiagnosed interference, their mysterious and cold-blooded adoptive father Reginald has created a seemingly trustworthy group of superpowers whose gifts can prove more than just a family of heroes, making enemies, unlike anything they have ever experienced before.
