The series is based on Lauren Beukes’s 2013, best-selling novel of the same name. Shining Girl’s story revolves around a newspaper archivist named Kirby Mizrachi. Who is being forced to come face to face with terms after a violent assault that she suffered? This is essential to recognize the true identity of the attacker, in order to help before he strikes again.
