Ziwa said, ” I prefer leading with improvisation in my series, cause those are my roots as a comedian. So the series would feel loose and fun and fresh for the audience. All because we’re making it up going along with the flow.”
Ziwe Season 2 Officially Revival
Its part-interview series, part-musical, and part-sketch show, help Ziwe to be established as a major force in comedy. Now, it’s officially returning for an exciting second season.
Ziwa said, “The show did exceed my wildest imagination. It’s all thanks to my brilliant cast, crew, and iconic guests,” in a statement following the show’s renewal. “I am extremely delighted that I am able to continue my collaboration with Showtime and A24.”
Season 2 Rocket- High Expectations

“Ziwe” Season 2 won’t be like Season 1, having few differences. In February 2012, the first season was filmed over the course of 15 days. Only consisting of six episodes which aired between May 9 and June 13, 2021.
However, Season 2 is planned to have a long run, featuring 12 episodes. In addition, the episodes will be divided into two different installments.
The famous late-night variety series, will returns on April 29 on Showtime streaming on demand. Before, officially debuting on-air on May 1.
