Sofia Alvarez has directed the upcoming American movie ‘Along for the Ride’ which is based on the same named novel written by Sarah Dessen. The plot of Along for the Ride revolves around Auden, a college student who meets another fellow classmate in the summer before college. Eli is an insomniac and has a mysterious aura.
The plot of the Along for the Ride is set in the town of Colby at the seaside. When night embarks and everyone of the town falls asleep, Auden and Eli set off for a nightly quest where Auden experiences the fun and carefree life of teenager she always wanted but never knew it.
Emma Pasarow and Belmont Cameli play the roles of Auden and Eli respectively. The Along for the Ride is set to release on May 6, 2022 in the United States on Netflix.
