Ultraman Season 2 has been teased a few days back by Streams Opening Animation Sequence. Season 1 was premiered for the first time in April 2019 and had a total of 13 episodes, the background music of the series was composed by Nobuko Toda and Kazuma Jinnouchi.
Season 2 was renewed a few months back since we’ll fan have been waiting for the anime to release on streaming giant Netflix. The trailer of season 2 was dropped on 5 January 2022 – you can watch it below.

In 2019, Ultraman was re-introduced by Netflix which is based on a Manga Series of the same name by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi. The show already has a very good fanbase and has 6.8 out of 10 ratings on IMDb and has very good popularity on MyAnimeList.
The series has been written by Eiichi Shimizu who has also worked on season 1, he has also worked on the Manga Series like Getter Robo Devolution, Hybrid Insector, Kurogane no Linebarrels, and Monster Strike Animation the New Series. The series has been directed by Kenji Kamiyama and you may be familiar with his works on Ghost in the Shell Series, Eden of the East, Blade Runner: Black Lotus, and Blood: The Last Vampire.
Release Date of Season 2
As per the schedule Ultraman Season 2 will be released on 14 April 2022 which is Thursday. The release date of season 2 is mentioned in the trailer too. The Sequel to 1966 the anime manga-based live-action series is very close to being premiered.

What could it be all about?
The Season 2 of Ultraman is about to release and I think this time six of our warriors be back with a new chapter which has been proposed on the official poster of season 2.
The new storyline of the anime series will be based on the mass disappearance of human life from mother earth by Dark Star – the alien organization. Similar to Season 1 the upcoming season 2 of the anime will also have 13 episodes which will be released on weekly basis only on Netflix.

The voice cast from Season 1 will reprise their roles in the Season 2 of Ultraman, Here is the list of the voice-over artists:
- Ryohei Kimura will reprise with his voice for Shinjiro Hayata
- Akio Nojima will be back as Yapool
- Eiji Hanawa will also reprise as Yosuke Endo
- Hideyuki Tanaka will be back as Shin Hayata

- Kaiji Soze will be back as Bemlar
- Ken Uo ill also reprise as Mitsuhiro Ide
