Pete Davidson Update: In a new interview, Kim Kardashian discussed her connection with Pete Davidson, revealing how she felt “BDE action” from the comic after their on-screen SNL kiss.

During the April 12 episode of Dear Media’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, the SKIMS businesswoman, 41, discussed her relationship with the comedian, 28, revealing that she felt curiously pulled to Pete after the two experienced an onscreen kiss during a skit on Saturday Night Live in late October. “I was just like, ‘Hmm!’ when we kissed.”‘” Kim said when host Amanda Hirsch questioned if she felt the “BDE that everyone talks about” after the kiss.

Kim explained, “It was a stage kiss, but there was definitely a little zing to it.” “It wasn’t like an out-of-body experience or anything.”

“I simply got to get myself out there,” Kim said after her lip-lock with Pete, noting that she hadn’t “kissed anyone else in 10 years.” Kim filed for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021 after six years of marriage.

“A few days later, I was like, ‘Hmm, there’s some BDE activity,” she recalled, adding that she was disappointed to learn that Pete had missed her after-show party. “Later, I considered it. ‘Damn, he’s the only one who didn’t show up,’ I thought.”

Kim fuelled relationship rumors with Pete after they were caught holding hands at Knott’s Scary Farm in California in the following weeks. The reality star, however, claimed that the outing occurred after the two had previously “privately” spent time together at the Beverly Hills Hotel. “We just chilled and hung out,” she said of their first date.

Kim also clarified the timing of her relationship with Pete during her participation in the podcast. She knew about the King of Staten Island actor, according to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum, but they didn’t actually meet until after the 2021 Met Gala in September.

Kim revealed, “He had been asking around for my number a little bit.” “He knew I was hosting SNL but hadn’t announced it yet when I saw him at the Met. We were talking about SNL when he approached me.”

Kim recalled telling Pete that she was “nervous” before the gig, prompting the comic to offer her his phone number as a resource.

Kim, who wore a full-body outfit at the Met Gala that covered her fingers and face, added, “I couldn’t get into my phone since I had gloves on.” As a result, she recalls Pete dismissing the situation and walking away before she could give him her phone number. “We had never met or done anything until [SNL].”
