Sweet Tooth Season 2 has been teased in a very beautiful way the creators had sent the chocolates to the cast and crew members embossing “Sweet Tooth Season 2” on the top. And with the chocolate bar the creative team had also sent them a note stating:
“To a very special fan of a very special show. You’re amongst the very first to hear that Sweet Tooth has been renewed for Season 2.”
And as per the reports of Collider, It’s official that the Season 2 of Sweet has already been announced and the team is working on the project as per the reports the filming is also about to wrap.
About the Netflix Series
Based on a Comicbook Series created by Jeff Lemire, Sweet Tooth has been created by Warner Brothers and DC Entertainment. The series is based on a very unique apocalyptic situation caused due to a virus that leads to the birth of the hybrids half human and half animals, and the series is based on one such boy Gus (a hybrid of deer and human). This is his journey of finding his mother with the help of his two friends. The show has 7.9 out of 10 ratings on IMDb.
Season 1 was premiered on Netflix on June 4th, 2021. And just after its release the Sweet Tooth Season 2 was announced on Twitter officially.

Filming of Sweet Tooth Season 2 is about to wrap
As per the Reports of Variety, the shooting of the Season 2 was started in January 2022 at various locations in New Zealand and it will soon wrap on 31st May 2022.

The cast of Season 2
Season 2 is almost complete and there are numerous characters that have been added in the upcoming season, so we may be able to watch various new artists in the show now and the casts from season 1 will also reprise their roles in Sweet Tooth Season 2.
As there were not any major deaths in season 1 we will have our major characters like Gus (Christian Convery), Tommy Jepperd aka Big Man (Nonso Anozie), and Bear (Stefania LaVie Owen) will be back in the Season 2.
And as per the Reports of What’s On Netflix, four new hybrids have been added to the characters for Season 2 which are:
- Finn Fox – Hybrid of human and red fur fox
- Wally Walrus – Human with a big tusk although he is very shy and has expressive eyes too.
- Haley Mockingbird – Hybrid of human and bird, having a beak and has skinny stork-like legs
- JoJo Cat – hybrid of cat and human, who is very curious to meet new people.
Expected Release Date of Sweet Tooth Season 2
As the Season 2 of the show has been renewed and the shooting is also about to wrap, Here we so we can predict that the Sweet Tooth Season 2 will be dropped on Netflix somewhere at the end of this year may be in November 2022 or in early 2023, between November 2022 to April 2023.
